This is by far one of the worst professional experiences I have had.
The vehicle was fully paid on 09.12.2025. The last official update I received from Openlane was that the documents arrived at their office on 06.01.2026. Since then nothing. No progress, no explanation, no accountability.
The order status has been stuck on “preparing transport”, while according to their own timeline the car should have been delivered between 05.01.2026 and 16.01.2026. As of today, the vehicle is still sitting in their yard, with no clear delivery date and no justification whatsoever.
What makes this situation unacceptable is the complete lack of communication:
There is no functional way to contact them by phone
I sent an email on 13.01.2026 and never received a reply
No proactive updates, no apologies, no responsibility taken
We are talking about a company that has already received full payment, yet treats its customers with total indifference once the money is in their account.
This level of unprofessionalism, lack of transparency, and blatant disregard for agreed timelines is inexcusable. If you are considering buying a vehicle through Openlane, be aware that once they have your money, you are on your own.
