We only speak English and he has an exceptional mastery of English making him easy to understand. We enjoyed his explanations of the D-Day landings and especially his photo album with maps and actual photos from the landings, damage, bunkers, real people involved, etc that really aided in visualizing what troops landed where, what German defences were like, how the resistance fit in, and so much more. He's very relaxed and friendly, so easy to spend time with him. His car was very comfortable and he was prompt in picking us up at our hotel .
