My ADHDer was just getting lost in the large classroom instruction and needed something enjoyable that she could focus on at home. She was hating doing the little readers that came home from school as she found them tricky and there wasn’t much enjoyment in them. She’s a creative soul who wanted to tell an intricate story with the images, not sound out CVC words. By the end of Term 1 she was behind so we started Reading Eggs in the Easter holidays and she caught up quickly. She’s continued doing it since and is making great progress.
